Charles Munier, Retired Dentist, Director
Retired Dentist Charles Munier is a graduate of the Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry in 1972. He furthered his education studying Orthodonture the following year at the University of Connecticut. Moving to Augusta, Maine in 1973 he began his career as a General Dentist contributing high quality dental care to the Kennebec Valley region for over 47 years.
Munier maintained membership with the American Dental Association for the length of his career. He voluntarily served as a dental research evaluator for the CRA Foundation for 27 years staying abreast of current products and methodology in the field of dentistry.
Having raised five daughters, Munier enjoys spending time with his six grandchildren having many family lakeside cookout gatherings. His hobbies are hiking, snowshoeing, sculling, and baking bread.
Munier aided several dental outreach efforts in his semi retirement years and, though now fully retired, he continues to give back to his community as a member of the Saving Smiles of Maine Board.
